SECOND GROUP AT 9:00 IS THE HARDEST WITH MORE CANCELATIONS SPECIALLY IN PEAK SEASON LIKE THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS AND EASTER. WE RARELY DO AFTERNOON TOURS, SPECIALLY IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY IS TOO WINDY IN THE AFTERNOONS FOR A SAFE AND COMFORTABLE BOAT RIDE. Your guide will meet you at Marina La Paz and lead you to the boat, where you’ll be fitted with premium snorkeling gear—mask, snorkel, fins, and wetsuit. Biodegradable sunscreen is provided to keep you and the environment safe. Life vests are optional in the water and required on the boat—safety first!
🛥️ Explore the Whale Shark Zone
Start your day by swimming alongside the ocean’s gentle giants. With only two guests in the water at a time, you’ll enjoy a more personal and respectful encounter with these majestic creatures. Multiple jumps ensure plenty of time to marvel at their size and grace.
🦠Snorkel with Sea Lions
Next, we’ll visit a small sea lion colony surrounded by a colorful coral reef, home to a variety of vibrant fish. Dive in and snorkel among these playful creatures in an underwater paradise.
🌴 Iconic Baja Sights
Cruise to the stunning Balandra Beach and see the famous Mushroom Rock, two of Baja’s most beloved landmarks. If we’re lucky, we might even spot Blue-Footed Boobies on Gaviota Island!
🍽️ Relax with a Beachside Feast
End your adventure with a private beach picnic, complete with shade, chairs, and a delicious gourmet lunch. Enjoy fresh ceviche, tasty burritos, and fruit, all served with care by your guide. Have dietary needs? Let us know, and we’ll customize your meal to perfection.
Important Notes
The activity is restricted to people with no cardiac history or back/neck problems or pregnant woman. Minimum age to snorkel with whale sharks is 5 years old. You must sign a liability release prior the activity. Some snorkel experience recommended. Infants and children under 5 years old only on private tours.
